IELTS assesses candiadte’s Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking abilities. There are two types of tests: Academic and General Training.
It is one of the popular exam for English proficiency and is accepted by more than 11,000 universities globally, with over 1000 test locations in more than 140 countries. This test isn’t just essential for pursuing work or studying in foreign countries but it also helps students hone their English Speaking and Writing skills.
Valid passport and candidate must be 16 years of age.
The Test is conducted upto 4 times a month making up to total of 48 fixed test dates annually. The dates may differ for Academic, General Training and Computer based test.
Results are declared in 13-15 working days for Pen and Paper based exam. For Computer based results are released in 5-7 days of the test.
Band scores are given to each skill. i.e. 0-9.
